Industrial cybersecurity: safeguarding the survival, sustainability and competitiveness of the sector

In a context where industrialization is increasingly based on digital systems, companies are experiencing a rise in risks - machine operations liable to be compromised, industrial espionage, disruption of production lines, or exfiltration of data from control systems (ICS) or operational technologies (OT).

The aim of this call for proposals is to stimulate collaborative innovation to come up with new ideas, disruptive concepts or concrete technical solutions to enhance the cybersecurity and resilience of industrial systems, whether through the Zero Trust approach, securing operating environments or protecting critical infrastructures.

In addition to access to significant funding, this call offers many advantages for SMEs in French-speaking Switzerland, including collaboration with laboratories at EPFL, UNIL or HEIG-VD, giving them access to cutting-edge know-how and advanced research resources. As the expected results should also have a positive impact on the Vaud economy and society, the consortia will benefit from a favorable context for testing, deploying and promoting their innovations locally.
