by Sandrine Barrucand

Submit your project before November 6, 2020

The BlueArk Challenge is a call for projects designed to use open innovation methods to solve water management challenges. The 2020 theme focuses on the management of extreme climatic events (floods, droughts, pollution, etc.). The aim of this call for projects is to use innovative ideas and technologies to solve the problems faced by water stakeholders and professionals.

Application form on the BlueArk Challenge website.

Free entry and CHF 50,000 in prizes to be won

To be eligible, the proposed solutions must address the issue of managing extreme climatic events, or more precisely a challenge proposed by one of the BlueArk Challenge 2020 challenge sponsors.

The challenges are available on this page. New challenges are likely to appear until October 15.

In many cases, it's all about IT, and companies don't need to specialize in water:

Are you looking for additional skills or specific technologies to meet a challenge? Use this form to announce your interest!

If you'd like to talk to other solution providers, don't hesitate to post a message on the BlueArk LinkedIn group.

What's in it for me?

  • CHF 10,000 in cash for the development of the solution concept with the challenge leader
  • Monitoring of the solution by the challenge sponsor and provision of test infrastructure in the field
  • Personalized coaching from BlueArk Entremont
  • Free participation in themed workshops
  • The opportunity to develop, test and, if all goes well, market a tried-and-tested solution that has been validated in the field by a water specialist.
