Call for immersive artworks for GIFF

International immersive art competition

The Geneva International Film Festival (GIFF) is launching a call for entries for its International Competition for immersive works (virtual reality, augmented reality and mixed reality).

Since 2014, GIFF has offered a program of international immersive works. Since 2016, this program has included a competitive section of ten works that are selected and presented to a specialized Jury of digital creators as well as directors and producers from the international audiovisual scene. The Jury will award the best immersive work the Reflet d'Or 2018, worth CHF 10,000, offered by the City of Geneva.

To submit your work, please create an account on the MyGIFF online platform. Select "Registration form", then "Register an immersive work".

New Screen Talents

Since 2017, Le Geneva Digital Market has been hosting New Screen Talents, an initiative aimed at up-and-coming young filmmakers in Switzerland. With the support of Migros Culture Percentage, this program enables the most promising Swiss filmmakers to discuss their feature film project in depth with Swiss and international professionals. Selected participants will also have their latest short film screened at GIFF.

To submit a project, please create an account on the MyGIFF online platform. Select "Registration form", then "Call for entry: New Screen Talents".
