SÓNAR+D Startup Garden open until March 30

The Startup Garden at Sónar+D is an international call for startups specializing in the creative industries (music, video, art, design, hardware, VR, augmented reality...) with projects in development from early stages to Series A, which have previously raised several rounds of financing / at least one round of funding.

An innovative concept for startups specializing in the creative industries

Unlike similar competitions, the Startup Garden is an innovative concept where only 30 projects will be selected to benefit from a series of activities exclusively designed to promote their promotional, networking and investment opportunities. These include 'Mentoring for Startups' and 'Meet the Investor' - one-to-one sessions to connect investors with entrepreneurs, for registered participants - a series of conferences on key challenges and issues for the sector, a special space for project presentations, plus access to all Sónar By Day and Sónar By Night shows, and the full Sónar+D program of activities. Selected projects will also take part in the Startup Competition.

Over the past 5 years, the list of participants in the Startup Garden Sónar+D has included more than 60 mentors and investors, such as Joyce Lu, Marc Jordana and Ana Champetier (Wallapop) or Jon Eades (Abbey Road Red), and more than 100 investors, including John Acquaviva (Plus8 Equity Partners), Enrique Sarasola (RoomMate), Marc Ingla (Mangrove), Guzman Díaz (Index Ventures), Summit Varshney (Spotify Corporate Venture), Joanna Smith (Edge Group), Caterina Preti (Turner) and Paul Degueuse (Korelya Capital).
