Support for responsible and collaborative digital innovation

This call for projects aims to generate concrete solutions to mitigate the impact of digital technology on the environment and society. It is open to initiatives that are based on eco-design principles, with a focus on the rebound effect, in order to ensure that environmental benefits are not offset by indirect effects.

The targeted themes are broad and strategic: reducing the environmental footprint of digital technology (equipment, infrastructure, software), eco-design of digital services, inclusion and accessibility, ethical governance of data and AI, and the development of shared solutions with high replication potential. The program strongly encourages collaboration between different stakeholders (companies, local authorities, NGOs, researchers) and the creation of sustainable and reproducible economic models.

Concrete examples expected include: software optimized to consume less energy, frugal digital solutions adapted to low-connectivity contexts, services promoting the local reconditioning of IT equipment, and AI tools designed to reduce environmental impacts in sectors such as agriculture, mobility, and sustainable construction.
