The Future of Health Grant (FoHG) is an equity-free program that builds bridges between and among startups at different levels of maturity, so that they receive the funding they need as they progress.

Take your Life Science, HealthTech or Medtech project to the next level!

The program focuses on practical, tailor-made support, thanks in particular to a unique network of partners (hospitals, insurers, universities and consultancies among others) and skills that meet the specific needs of each start-up to foster collaboration and innovation and thus guarantee tangible growth and optimization of resources. 

The grants are designed to provide financial assistance to start-ups according to their level of maturity:

Concept - The " ignition " grant = 10'000 CHF

Present your concept to a jury made up of CSS and EPFL Innovation Park representatives, innovation experts and Swiss healthcare providers, and receive CHF 10,000, without any equity or interest, to support and stimulate your business idea! 10 projects awarded per year.

MVP - The "POC" (Proof Of Concept) grant = CHF 30,000

Present your start-up and your business plan to a jury of investors, corporate innovation managers and healthcare providers and receive CHF 30,000 without any equity or interest. This grant is there to help you develop your product, your prototype, by creating a POC. 5 start-ups awarded per year.

Last Stage - The " Validation " grant = 50'000 CHF

Last step before accessing the CSS Corporate Venture Fund. Take the chance to be supported by Switzerland's number one basic insurance provider with a grant of CHF 50,000. This grant supports the development of a product or service validated by users or clinical trials. 2 start-ups awarded per year.
