The origins of Ricochets date back to 2015 when Robin von Känel and Renaud Margairaz pooled their desire to humanize the communications sector. Since then, they have founded two agencies in Montreal and Lausanne with the ambition of helping companies develop sales and attract talent by turning their employees into true ambassadors.
CleantechAlps, BioAlps, Micronarc and alp ict
The mission of these four sector platforms, set up by the cantons of Western Switzerland, is to profile and promote the region as a center of excellence in the cleantech (CleantechAlps), life sciences (BioAlps), micro-nanotechnology (Micronarc) and information and digital technology (alp ict) sectors, and to implement measures to encourage knowledge transfer and innovation.
These platforms pursue the objectives of fostering collaborative innovation, facilitating relationships between regional, national or international players, and aiming to exploit synergies in the fields concerned. To achieve these goals, the platforms act as a liaison between companies, R&D, institutional and financial players, in order to create economic value and strengthen and accelerate SMEs' capacity for innovation, as well as their digital transition.
