#SciCommHack @CERN

Applications are now open for the very first @CERN #SciCommHack! Registration link. 

During this hackathon, you'll be tackling some of today's most important scientific communication challenges, those that concern not only CERN, but also the wider scientific community. 

Participants will tour CERN's underground facilities, take part in interactive workshops to develop their hacking skills, and network with future colleagues, collaborators and friends. 

Here are a few things to consider when applying for a job:

• Study the predefined challenges before registering(link)
• Make sure you can commit fully to the hackathon on the weekend of November 14 and 15 - a bonus if you were able to attend the opening ceremony on the 13th(see calendar).

Whether you're a student, professional or otherwise, it's your passion for what you do that's paramount. All applicants will have exclusive access to mentor-led pre-hackathon workshops, taking place virtually throughout September and October.
