On February 26, 2026, the CNCI is organizing an event in Neuchâtel dedicated to personal data protection and data security in the context of artificial intelligence. This event will offer concrete and strategic insights into the risks, obligations, and best practices to adopt now, as AI profoundly transforms the way data is collected, processed, and secured in everyday operational and professional contexts.
The question is no longer "should we use AI?" but "how can we use it in compliance?"
This meeting aims to clarify the principles governing personal data protection and apply them in practice, taking into account the new European regulations on AI—in particular its classification of systems by risk level. It will also enable participants to identify precisely when a Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) is mandatory, and to learn how to construct their own risk analysis, tailored to their context, in order to anticipate obligations, avoid penalties, and secure their data processing, without unnecessary overload or jargon.
