Talks AI Debunk Workshop

1. Workshop Gen AI - Introduction to the tools and creative uses of generative AI

The day will kick off with an immersive workshop by Étienne Mineur, focusing on the use of generative AI for image creation. Participants will learn how to manipulate prompting tools (text to image) such as Stable Diffusion, DALL-E or Midjourney. This workshop will provide an insight into the workings of these technologies, their limitations, but also their creative and commercial potential, particularly for agencies, design studios or the communications departments of SMEs.

2. MadMapper AI Shader 2025 - AI and real-time visual creation

Geneva-based GarageCube, publishers of the renowned MadMapper software, will be unveiling new features for the automatic generation of pixel shaders based on artificial intelligence. A technical demonstration will show how this innovation can be integrated directly into projection, immersive installation or live performance workflows. A major contribution for companies active in the fields of events, visual design or live performance.

3. Certify - A local citizen fact-checking application

In the early afternoon, the spotlight shines on social innovation with the presentation of Certify, an instant fact-checking application designed and developed in Geneva. One of its creators will present this platform capable of analyzing assertions circulating online and delivering rapid certification based on expert opinion. A tool accessible to all to combat misinformation, but also a source of inspiration for SMEs interested in digital trust technologies and raising public awareness.

4. Conference: Don't believe what you see - AI and deepfake

The day will conclude with a conference for the general public, but essential for anyone concerned by the visual uses of AI. For 2.5 hours, an interactive format will raise awareness of deepfakes, the manipulation of generated images and their societal consequences. Aimed at adults and senior citizens in particular, this session is also relevant for communication, legal or education professionals wishing to better understand the risks associated with these technologies.
