Custom AI: Innovation Tools & Academic Solutions
June 4, 2026
- June 4, 2026
EPFL BC Building – Lausanne
On June 4, 2026, EPFL will host an event in Lausanne organized by the Alliance Innovation Association and dedicated to the integration of AI into organizations. The goal of this event is to connect companies with the scientific and technological expertise available in French-speaking Switzerland in order to facilitate the practical adoption of artificial intelligence solutions tailored to their needs.
Designed as a forum for dialogue between the academic world and the business community, the event emphasizes a pragmatic approach to artificial intelligence. The goal is not merely to showcase technologies, but to demonstrate how to develop “tailor-made” solutions capable of addressing concrete business challenges: process automation, data analysis, operational optimization, and the creation of new services.
The discussions will focus in particular on issues related to technology transfer, data structuring, and collaboration between companies and research laboratories. At a time when many organizations are experimenting with AI but are not always able to scale up its use, the event aims to provide concrete strategies for transforming proof-of-concept projects into genuine drivers of competitiveness.
This event will also provide an opportunity to explore a vibrant ecosystem through engagement with industry experts and local partners, fostering co-innovation and support. Four platforms will be present to showcase their activities and the support available to businesses: Delphine Seitiée from Alp ICT, Arnaud Croisier from Innovaud’s SyNNergy program, Jean Hennebert from the Swiss AI Center for SMEs, and Silvia Quarteroni from the Swiss Data Science Center.
