Research & Innovation Day 2024
After the 2022 event, which attracted almost 300 participants from the economic and industrial fabric of the French-speaking part of Switzerland, the event returns this year in a new, itinerant format, to showcase the skills and services of HEIG-VD.

How can we work together to innovate in the digital age?
A round-table discussion is scheduled, with the central topic being. "Collaborating to protect against digital attacks".. This will be an in-depth discussion with experts from the worlds of academia and industry, and more generally, a great opportunity to meet people from the world of research, to broaden the innovation potential of SMEs in the French-speaking part of Switzerland.
Sharing experiences will enable us to address concrete issues around technological innovations such as :
- data collection and assembly line automation
- energy efficiency
- 3D visualization, modeling and printing
- predictive & intelligent analysis
- drone photogrammetry
Objectives:
- Discover HEIG-VD's Applied Research and Development institutes and the various services they offer to companies and local authorities;
- Consider future collaborations with professors, research managers and experts in HEIG-VD's fields of activity.
