INDUSTRY TOUR BUS
From September 28 to October 9, 2026, the INNdustry program, led by Innovaud, will be hitting the road with its Tour Bus to directly connect with industrial SMEs and subcontractors in various regions of the canton of Vaud. From Nyon to northern Vaud, passing through Chablais, Lausanne, La Broye, and Morges, this tour will offer a series of workshops, company visits, and meetings organized with the support of regional economic development agencies.
Objective : to connect businesses with partners, support and opportunities that can support their development.

Generative AI meets Vaud SMEs
The program will address various concrete challenges faced by industrial companies: internationalization, diversification, cybersecurity, automation and digitalization, certifications, and artificial intelligence. Each stop on the Tour Bus is structured around a company visit, allowing participants to discover a business activity and expertise firsthand, complemented by a thematic workshop dedicated to one of the key development challenges for SMEs.
Among the many sessions and workshops offered under the title "Experts' Lunchtime Talks," two sessions dedicated to digital transformation and artificial intelligence technologies will particularly capture our attention: "Controlling Costs and Results with AI." This practical workshop, led by Marie-Laure Gallez, Head of AI at Innovaud, will focus on moving from the still exploratory use of generative AI to a genuine working tool, notably by seeking to better structure collaboration with these technologies to control costs and improve results.
Two opportunities to participate are planned:
- October 7th, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm , at Spontis SA in Avenches,
- October 8th, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm , at Friderici's, in Tolochenaz.
In both cases, the workshop will be complemented by a meal and a networking session, in the spirit of proximity and exchange that structures the entire Tour Bus.
