HestiaLabs: press presentation
What is HestiaLabs?
Supported by the Migros Pioneer Fund and headed by Paul-Olivier Dehaye, the HestiaLabs team develops "privacy by design" technologies that it makes available free of charge to projects that respect personal data. The aim is to make the digital world more virtuous and sustainable.
After 9 months of design and recruitment, HestiaLabs now has 11 employees based between Geneva and Bern, and can now introduce itself to you.

This presentation will also be available online, and will be followed by a very practical workshop for those who want to understand what personal data really is, and how to handle it.
Who is Paul-Olivier Dehaye?
A mathematician (PhD Stanford, then Oxford then prof ETH/Univ Zurich), his work led to the revelation of the Facebook-Cambridge Analytica affair and led to the making of the Netflix film The Great Hack.
