When technology and social engagement come together to co-create solutions

Hack for Social Good stands out for its collaborative approach: over the course of two days, interdisciplinary teams work together to design digital prototypes, data tools, platforms, or automation solutions that address the needs expressed by social organizations. The goal is to promote an inclusive and meaningful digital transformation by putting technology to work to address real-world social issues.

This hackathon is primarily a privileged observation ground for Swiss SMEs in French-speaking Switzerland to understand how digital technologies can be applied to complex human and organizational issues. It also offers an opportunity to identify talent, forge links with academic institutions, and draw inspiration from new approaches to open innovation. Finally, it allows companies to reflect on their own role in responsible digital transformation.

Between morning yoga sessions, happy hour, dinner, and other opportunities for conversation, the lectures and challenges presented will allow you, among other things, to explore topics such as:

  • Digital Innovation: A Collective Journey with Maël Dif-Pradalier, HES-SO
  • The balance between AI innovation and privacy protection in the social sector with Livio di Tria, lecturer at UAS and co-founder of Swissprivacy.law
  • "smart matching" via the FundingNavigator platform, which facilitates connections in the field of social financing in Switzerland
  • AI-powered social storytelling for fundraising campaigns
