Can immersive emotion become a lever for action or compassion?

Or how to convey the reality of the field when words are no longer enough? These are some of the questions that will drive this presentation, given by Philippe Stoll, senior technologist at the ICRC, and which will highlight the potential of video games and virtual reality as tools for training, advocacy and awareness-raising, particularly with regard to armed conflict. Through a selection of immersive projects co-developed with war witnesses, humanitarian teams and artists, this initiative shows how emotional immersion can become a powerful lever of engagement.
