Sustainability Forum of the Vaud Economy
This forum, organized by the CVCI, will address the various facets of sustainability through conferences and practical workshops led by experts and featuring testimonials from entrepreneurs.
Energy renovation, mobility, waste management, CSR, responsible digitization and industrial production will be at the heart of the discussions, enabling participants to concretely envisage the unavoidable transition to an economy that is both competitive and respectful of the environment. You will have the opportunity to take part in a morning workshop and an afternoon workshop.
Would you like to find out more about a more sustainable and cost-effective digital strategy?
If you want to decarbonize your IT and make it more resilient in the face of future challenges (laws, social pressure, risk of shortages, rising purchasing costs, reputation, etc.), we recommend theworkshop organized by Canopé and the City of Lausanne. This workshop will present digital pollution, the first steps in starting a Green IT strategy, as well as a wealth of feedback from the City of Lausanne on its Responsible Digital strategy.
As a reminder, a McKinsey study states that for service companies, more than a third of energy-related CO2 emissions come from IT. However, this study does not take into account the impact of manufacturing and end-of-use of electronic equipment. This would further increase the environmental footprint of IT in these companies.
