Foire du Valais 2026 x Innothèque: A Showcase for Swiss and Valais Innovation
From October 2 to 11, 2026, the Foire du Valais in Martigny will host a new edition of the Innothèque, its space dedicated to innovation and new technologies. Designed as a meeting place for companies, startups, institutions, and the general public, the Innothèque will feature conferences, demonstrations, and discussions to highlight innovative solutions and explore their practical applications in the economy and within organizations.
From Artificial Intelligence to New Uses of Digital Technology
This edition will place a strong emphasis on the changes that digital technology is already bringing about in businesses. Artificial intelligence, automation, cybersecurity, data analytics, changes in the workplace, and the transformation of IT services will be explored from various perspectives.
Beyond the technologies themselves, several presentations will also explore how they are integrated into organizations: How can we ensure the security of new AI applications, preserve the role of humans, support the evolution of jobs, and make better use of the information generated by digital systems?
Among the events dedicated to these issues:
- October 2 & 9, at 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. – AI in Action: Use Cases for Boosting Business Performance While Maintaining Optimal Security, with Cyrill Gremaud, Christophe Perroud, and Fabrice Carrel (Dina). Through several use cases, they will discuss process automation, secure generative AI assistants, information system governance, and data utilization to facilitate decision-making. There will be two sessions.
- October 6, at 10 a.m. – “Digital Efficiency Is Accelerating; Human Value Makes the Difference,” presented by Flexsis. This conference will offer an analysis of the transformations in the Swiss labor market in the face of AI, economic uncertainty, and demographic shifts, with a focus on the evolution of knowledge-based professions and the role of human value.
- October 6, at 1:00 p.m. – “Digitalization in Businesses,” featuring Jaurès Fotsing, co-founder of the Microsoft .NET Cameroon community, and Dana Waissbluth, vice president of Junior Entreprise Valais, will explore the role of people in increasingly digitalized and automated organizations, as well as the conditions necessary to ensure that digital transformation leads to progress in both technology and human development.
- October 9, at 3:00 p.m. – The Hidden and Overlooked Value of the IT Support Service (Service Desk): How to Identify It? Presented by CeRFI. This presentation will show how the information collected daily by support services can go beyond simply resolving incidents and become a resource for understanding usage patterns, assisting business units, and supporting organizational transformation. October 9.
For small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in French-speaking Switzerland, the Innothèque thus offers an opportunity to approach digital transformation by addressing issues directly related to their day-to-day operations. The conferences will provide a chance to explore both operational use cases for AI and to reflect on security, changes in the workplace, user support, and the value of data generated by IT services. Combined with the demonstrations and networking events offered during the Fair, these sessions provide a framework for evaluating new technologies against business realities and identifying concrete paths for organizational development. And because the Foire du Valais remains an unmissable networking event, the Innothèque allows attendees to combine technology monitoring with networking—all while perhaps sharing a glass of Fendant…
