On May 7, 2026, the city of Fribourg will host the latest edition of the eGovernment Symposium Romand, organized by the Swiss Digital Administration (ANS). This annual event serves as a meeting place for public administrations, businesses, academia, and political leaders, with the primary goal of bringing together diverse expertise and fostering discussion on current issues and the challenges facing e-government.

Digital transformation of the government and inter-agency collaboration at the heart of the discussions

Designed as a platform for exchange and sharing of experiences, the eGovernment Symposium Romand addresses major developments in Swiss e-government, highlighting the key projects, organizational challenges, and technological innovations that are shaping digital public services. Immediately following the opening remarks by Jean-Pierre Siggen, State Councilor of the Canton of Fribourg, this 2026 edition will continue with a focus on the future of federal cooperation in the field of digital administration, featuring a presentation by Peppino Giarritta, Project Manager at Swiss Digital Administration.
