Corporate Innovation in Switzerland: feedback & outlook

To introduce the topic, a significant part of the morning will be devoted to analysing the policy framework and outlook in French-speaking Switzerland. In the presence of Mr Kustrim Reka, Economic Development Officer at the Cantonal Office for Economy and Innovation (OCEI) of the State of Geneva, Mr Raphaël Conz, Managing Director of the Office for Economic Affairs and Innovation (SPEI) of the State of Vaud, and Ms Karine Curti, Director of the Foundation for the Attractiveness of the Canton of Geneva (FLAG), you will be able to discover the roadmap for innovation, entrepreneurship and taxation, which SMEs can follow to foster their development and enhance their competitiveness.

These perspectives are backed up by nearly 10 years' experience of the practices, collaborations and governance actions carried out within a major Swiss organization: La Poste, represented by Mr. Philipp DeAngelis. Among the points addressed will be questions relating to acquisition policies, integrated innovation and the strengths and weaknesses of the Swiss ecosystem.

The late morning and afternoon will be punctuated by other speeches, conferences and round tables, enabling SMEs in particular to enrich and/or reinforce their actions to meet the challenges of innovation and competitiveness.

In concrete terms, the event will provide SME managers in French-speaking Switzerland with

  • tangible methods for thriving in a context of rapid change, with particular emphasis on adaptability, foresight and innovation
  • advice on how to ensure the adaptability of their organization, with a particular focus on intrapreneurship, creativity and critical thinking
  • practical approaches to fostering growth with start-ups through collaboration and investment, while taking into account legal and sustainability parameters
