HestiaLabs workshop to regain control of your personal data
A workshop organized by HestiaLabs, an initiative presented to the press on the same day at 5pm(more info).
It will help you understand what personal data really is and how to handle it.
In just one hour, you will learn how to :
- Download the data accumulated about you by the social networks - Facebook and Twitter - or dating applications - Tinder, Bumble, Parship, Grindr - of your choice;
- Decipher these files and see what the data says about your professional, personal and even intimate life;
- Understand how this information is used to pique your interest, maximize the time you spend on the application, or influence your choices and opinions.
3 important information :
- If you can't make it to Geneva on October 5, you can still take part online(register here).
- The workshop will be in English AND French
- You must choose between Track #1 - Dating applications and Track #2 - Social networks. Both workshops run in parallel.
PS: If you're interested in both, don't worry, the experiment will be repeated.
