The Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions, the world's largest showcase of patented inventions, returns to Palexpo this year, from April 9 to 13, 2025, for its 50th edition. With more than 1,000 inventions on display, 35 countries and regions represented, and some 25,000 visitors, this not-to-be-missed event dedicated to entrepreneurs and innovation will enable SMEs in French-speaking Switzerland to explore the potential of Swiss creativity and make connections with their peers on an international scale.
To celebrate its 50thedition , this year's show will feature a pavilion of honor dedicated to innovation, research and technology in Switzerland. This space will showcase the latest Swiss advances and innovations, demonstrating the country's dynamism and capacity for innovation in a wide range of sectors. The pavilion will be home to a large number of SMEs from Western Switzerland, showcasing their products and services in the fields of digital technologies, green technologies, biotechnologies and micro and nanotechnologies.
In addition to the sector and regional clusters belonging to ARI-SO, of which Alp ICT is a member, other key players in the Swiss economic, industrial and technological fabric will be present, including SGE (Switzerland Global Enterprise), CleantechAlps, Micronarc, BioAlps, OPI (Office de Promotion des Industries et des Technologies), Switzerland Innovation Park Network West EPFL and UNITEC.
The ESA (European Space Agency), which is also celebrating its 50th anniversary, will be the guest of honor. ESA will be offering an overview of innovations resulting from space exploration and their influence on everyday life. Its patent office will present its vast portfolio of innovative technologies and patents, and the role of Swiss institutions in international space missions will be highlighted.
