Sónar+D will bring to Barcelona the latest advances in AI and VR applied to the arts
Sónar+D, the congress dedicated to creative technologies which will be held on June 14, 15, 16 and 17, announced the program for its 2017 edition. The congress will bring together more than 100 activities, 180 Speakers and around 5,000 accredited professionals, from 2,100 companies and 60 countries.
Key figures and projects that are shaping the future of design, music and creative technologies will assemble in Barcelona for a period of four days. Creators, technologists, research centers, entrepreneurs and startups will share their ideas and works with attendees, through demos, technology shows, exclusive premieres, debates, workshops and networking spaces.
2 CALLS FOR ENTRIES NOW OPEN
- The first is the Startup Garden powered by MIGRATION, an international call for entries to all those startups specialized in the creative industries (music, video, art, design, fashion, hardware or virtual reality), with an operational project that has been generating revenue for a minimum of 12 months, and are looking for Series A investment round. The call will remain open until April 17.
- The second is the Sónar Innovation Challenge, aimed at creators (programmers, artists, designers, hackers…) to work for 5 weeks on a series of technological challenges launched by companies that propose challenges for the creative community based on specific needs for innovation. The developed prototypes will be exhibited during Sónar+D 2017. Those interested can present submissions until April 7.
